The International Society for Vaccines (ISV) is pleased to announce the 2021 ISV Annual Virtual Congress will take place on September 13 -15. The Congress will include pre-recorded and live sessions in different focus areas beginning with two keynote addresses and an introduction of the new ISV fellows, followed by multiple scientific sessions. While the exact details will be determined later, sessions will include executive summaries via pre-recorded tracks, live Q&A sessions with speakers, presentations selected from submitted abstracts, dedicated poster sessions, and a variety of highly interactive meetings. Participants will be able to meet and talk with their Fellow(s) of choice, select their favorite masterclass(es), and attend one or more workshops of interest.
We invite registrants to submit an abstract for a possible pre-recorded oral or poster presentation. Abstracts will be reviewed by our Scientific Committee (SC) outlined below. We also invite those who are interested in presenting a poster to submit a brief 2-3-minute introduction video once the SC accepts the abstract. The traditional Oral Abstract presentations selected by the SC will have the opportunity to give a 10-15 min presentation at one of the plenary sessions. Please scroll down to the abstract submission section for the link to instructions and to submit your abstract.
Additionally, selected outstanding oral and poster presentations from the Congress will be invited to contribute an article (Research paper, Review or Commentary) based on the presented work in a Special Issue of the journal Human Vaccines and Immunotherapeutics (HV&I) where previous ISV congress special issues are published.
Please check back regularly as we will be making continual updates on the agenda and Congress design.
We are looking forward to making this an unforgettable, exciting & interactive event!
Warm regards,
Manon Cox on behalf of the co-chairs and scientific committee
